Daniel Huard is an engineer, architectural designer, urban planner, LEED – ILFI and Project Management Accredited Professional specializing in high-performance building, sustainable and restorative development.
Daniel’s project expertise includes commercial and office facilities, government agency facilities, technology and infrastructure critical facilities, cultural – museum facilities, educational facilities, sustainable improvements to historical restorations, National Register facilities rehabilitation, landmark facilities rehabilitation, as well as utility infrastructure operational facilities.
Daniel received degrees in Mechanical Engineering, from Niagara College; Undergraduate in Architecture, Masters of Architecture and Masters of Urban Planning from the State University of New York at Buffalo.
Daniel has an ongoing commitment to non-profit organizations he is currently the board of directors president of the U.S. Green Building Council – Nevada Chapter and Nevada’s Ambassador to the International Living Future Institute. He also served as the past League of Indian Nations of North America Ambassador to the United Nations Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues, where Daniel focused on international membership communication, sustainability programs, social and educational programs and native rights recognition and advocacy.
